Word Wand MAP

EveryBookDeservestoBeDiscovered.

Meaningful conversations between authors and readers. Word Wand MAP invites selected authors to talk about their books through a curated Author Spotlight.

The discovery gap

The book is out.
The conversation is still waiting.

You have given your story months, perhaps years. Yet publishing it does not always bring the readers, discussions, or feedback you imagined.

Word Wand MAP helps close that distance through thoughtful introductions between authors and curious readers.

A quiet launch

Publication day comes and goes without the reader interest you hoped for.

Lost among the listings

A book can be available everywhere and still be difficult for its readers to find.

Little reader feedback

Few voluntary reviews can leave you wondering how your story is being received.

No conversation yet

Your ideas deserve a discussion, but the right readers have not gathered around them.

An overlooked backlist

Earlier books may still have something to say to an audience that has not discovered them.

Attention that fades

Brief bursts of promotion do not always turn into meaningful reader connections.

Active readers, and still growing

Help readers decide whether your book belongs on their next reading list, without a hard sell.

A new discovery moment

Put the story behind your book in front of a community open to finding new voices.

Discussion with depth

Explore themes, characters, and interpretations through thoughtful questions from readers.

Personal recommendations

Create space for the kind of genuine enthusiasm readers may choose to share with others.

A place on the reading list

Introduce a book that readers can return to when they are choosing what to read next.

Your voice as an author

Let readers meet the person behind the pages and hear what shaped your creative journey.

Connections beyond the session

Every reader chooses for themselves. A spotlight does not guarantee purchases, reviews, rankings, or a particular response.

From hello to spotlight

How It Works

Five steps towards a meaningful author–reader conversation.

  1. 01

    Start with a hello

Message us on WhatsApp with your book title, genre, and a short introduction. We begin with a conversation about whether it suits the community.

  2. 02

Find the right fit and date

If your book is selected, we discuss the format and agree on a suitable date. You receive the details before making any commitment.

  3. 03

    Bring readers into your story

Join your Author Spotlight to talk about the book, its ideas, and your writing journey, with room for thoughtful reader questions.

  4. 04

    Let the reading unfold

Interested readers can explore your book in their own time and share their perspectives. Reading and reviews are always voluntary.

  5. 05

    Keep the connection open

The conversation need not finish with the session. Readers may return to your work, discover other titles, or recommend a book they enjoyed.

Author voices

What stays with an author.

I've been involved with a number of discussions about my work, but what stood out here was how deeply people engaged with the story. They didn't just talk about what I had intended to write. They found connections and meanings I hadn't even consciously planned, and that was genuinely rewarding. Within just two weeks, the book generated more than 117 reviews on Goodreads and over 50 on Amazon, but what impressed me most was that those numbers came alongside real discussion and engagement. It felt less like simply presenting a book and more like watching the story continue to develop through the perspectives of the people who had read it.

Sundown: Derailing Dystopia

I couldn't believe what people were saying about my book. The discussions helped me discover parts of my own work I hadn't fully seen myself. Hearing readers interpret my story from their own perspective was something I had never experienced before. For the first time I saw organic reader engagement that actually leads to real sales, reviews, and visibility.

Dragons to Butterflies

Quite honestly, I didn't expect my book to have legs twenty years after it was published, so it was rewarding to see others still finding value in it. I found the session thoughtful and genuine. What a truly enjoyable experience.

Family Routines and Rituals

Genuinely, I was stunned. I never thought it was real due to the mass outreach authors receive from different people, but this surpassed my expectations and made me believe there is still a group out there that truly cares about authors. The spotlight was so insightful, great questions from readers and moderators, and the discussion was so on point that I was emotional during the session and after. And it doesn't end there. I got more visibility and more of my books were brought to life, not only the one that was featured.
